I would like to announce that I am the trumpet teacher for the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra inaugural VanSickle Foundation program! It is an honor to be a part of this program and I am looking forward to working with some great students through this organization. Students have to submit an essay and commit to 1 1/2 hours of practice per day in order to get scholarship lessons.
Veer Udani was awarded first place in the Hebron Concerto Contest Brass Division!
Dr. Ryan Gardner from the University of Boulder Colorado, visited the Hebron Trumpet studio to help prepare for the National Trumpet Competition. The students were very excited to work with him and made some fantastic progress in their performance pieces. Thank you Dr. Gardner!
Dr. Brian Walker from the University of North Texas came and performed a master class for the students in preparation for their solos. We heard some fantastic ideas and were overwhelmed with his teachings!
CONGRATULATIONS to Ashton Liming of Prosper High School to be my first student (of many to come) to purchase a Bell Trumpet from Steve Bell. Ashton sounded amazing on these horns. These trumpets are the REAL DEAL. Oh, his trumpet serial number? 10. Yes, 10. These trumpets are new and going to make history, Ashton was lucky enough to get one of the first 10. So, who’s next?
The Hebron 2024-2025 All-State Trumpeters, Colston Groves and Veer Udani!
