I work with both Houghton Horns LLC and Williamson Music 1st when working with a new instrument request.  I can meet you at the store and work with you in finding the best trumpet for the student.  Pricing for this is $50.00 per consultation, average consultation is about 30 minutes to an hour.  I would meet you at the store and work with the student in letting them try the different horns and helping them find one that works for them.

For a used trumpet, the trumpet testing would take place at my home in Lake Dallas.  Pricing for this would be $50.00 per consultation.  If the testing would have to take place in a different location (sellers location), then the pricing would be $100.00 per consultation.

If you need to sell your trumpet, just let me know.  I typically have one or two students "looking" for another trumpet and can do a consultation with them.  I have a 10% fee of the sale price if the deal is accepted.
