Greetings!

This is the private website of Vernon Richter's Trumpet Studio students.  Within this site you will find information exclusively for my student's pertaining to lessons and the art of trumpet playing.  Check back often for updates and new material!

NOTICE!  

I AM NOW ACCEPTING NEW STUDENTS FOR MY HOME STUDIO!

My new students will have to adhere to a strict lesson practice commitment and audition procedure in order to be accepted into my home studio and to continue as a member of the studio.  This will be for highly motivated students only.  Maintaining membership in the studio may require additional auditions or evaluations over time. This program is designed for the aspiring trumpet student with the intent of achieving Region, Area, or State status, and/or wanting to pursue music as a career.  This can also apply to the middle school aged student wanting to excel and to prepare for high school more fully. 

I currently have 2 former students at Baylor University, 1 at Oklahoma State, 1 at Boulder Colorado and 2 at the University of North Texas.  Past students have been members of Julliard, University of North Texas, Texas Christian University, Frost School of Music, Texas Tech University all pursuing music careers.

I have had over 30 All-State trumpet students under my teaching and with most coming the past 5 or 6 years as I feel I have found the “secret" to achieving State status and having great college auditions.
